100 daysAbout me
Hey everyone, I’m Hoang Anh, a software developer with 4 years of experience. I really love my job, but over the past year and a half, I’ve felt like I’m not making any progress. So, I started asking myself, 'What do I need to do now?'
And i found the answer: improve my presentation skills and English (because I’m Vietnamese). I understand the problem in my head, but when i explain it to my boss, everything usually gets messed up, and i have to repeat myself.
I dream of one day working remotely and living in Nha Trang, a beautiful place near the beach. Right now, I feel each workday is great: my coworkers are cheerful, and the job is always fresh.
I’ve seen many developers stuck maintaining old projects, even submitting code to their leader for production merge without any review or question like ‘Why did you do it this way? Is there a better approach?’ I don’t like that. Everything you do should have a reason, and luckily, my boss always ask me, ‘Why?’
That’s why I decided to start a blog to share my workday and thoughts. It’s not boring, trust me—my job always comes with new bugs and issues to tackle.
I know many people have done this before me, and their work is far more ‘professional’ than mine. But what if you enjoy a normal day like mine. Even if no one reads it, I’ll still write. Why? To improve my expression, storytelling, idea presentation, and language skills. Wow, so many benefits! Let’s get started!
This blog will have the domain codingwithme—meaning 'code with me'—and will cover various topics, not just my daily work. I’ve come up with a theme for this part I’m sharing: '100 days'. Why 100? It feels like a countdown to a goal, and 100 days seems like a significant period—worth waiting for, worth remembering. Plus, people online often talk about the number 100.
I’m so happy you’ve made it this far. This is the opening post for my '100 days' journey!
