[Day 6]

100 days

Today is Saturday, which means it’s been six days since I started the habit of journaling my days. It’s been pretty interesting to look back and see what I’ve managed to do over the past week.

To be honest, I used to be really lazy in college. There were weeks when I only showed up to a few classes — the rest of the time I was out having fun. But maybe I’ve had enough of that kind of fun. These days, what I’m most passionate about is work. Of course, I still enjoy other things like going on vacations, buying some new clothes, and taking care of the people I love. But to do all that, you need to make money. Luckily, I’m doing a job I love — and it pays me well too.

I feel really fortunate. There was a time when I didn’t even know what I liked. I just randomly picked a university and went with it. I was even luckier to have a best friend — we went through everything people usually call “youth” together. Honestly, I really miss those days. And if I ever had the chance, I’d love to relive that time again.

As for today’s work, I’ve been working on a few personal projects. I have tons of ideas, but I rarely sit down and actually do them. It’s a bit sad. I’ve had a really good hosting plan for a year now, and there’s only one week left before it expires — yet I’ve barely used 5% of it. A whole year gone to waste.

But I’m changing. I write every day now, and it helps me organize what I know and improve my summarizing skills. Then I translate it into English for extra practice. Just recently, I started talking to foreigners in English — something I never thought I’d be able to do. Some even said my pronunciation sounds like a native speaker. That made me really happy.
